To adopt a dog from INWPR, fill out the adoption application and mail it in with a nonrefundable $5 processing fee. Incomplete, emailed and/or unsigned applications will not be considered. We keep applications on file for six months. Please let us know if you have gotten a dog elsewhere and no longer wish to be on file. If you would like to foster a pug, please write "FOSTER" on your application.

After you apply, INWPR will contact you if we think you're a good fit with a dog we have. Adoption fees for pugs vary depending on the age of the pug and other factors. We take a loss on each dog, but want them to be in the best of health when they go to their forever homes.

INWPR no longer adopts dogs out of the Greater Spokane/Idaho Panhandle area. Save time and do not inquire or apply if you are outside the greater Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area. There are NO EXCEPTIONS ANY MORE. Please remember: there is one person doing all the INWPR jobs!

Maddie needs a VERY PATIENT owner. She came from an area puppy mill and was too much for her owner to deal with. The owner didn't want to return her to the terrible conditions she came from, so we got her. When we contacted her breeder, she insisted it wasn't her dog, however there is a photo of Maddie on the breeder's site! Maddie is a little over a year old and is making up for a lost puppyhood. Like a puppy, she puts everything in her mouth, and chews on wicker dog beds. She needs a fully fenced yard, because she does not potty on leash, plus she loves to do the "pug run". She would benefit from a pug playmate (a young male would be best). She loves going for walks and is very playful and can be kind of pushy. Mad is very quiet, crate trained and learned how to use a dog door very quickly. Maddie is absolutely terrified of little children and men. We will not place her in a home with children younger than teens.
